A philosophical question

Can I ask  you a philosophical question: Why do people like being praised? I think nobody doubts it, though I think many of you have never thought about it before, that's so naturally. So I wish you think about it and tell me your opinion whatever it is.
I guess I've made a lot of mistakes, so you can correct them if you don't mind doing it.

Are you sure all the people like that? What is the point of being praised? I am absolutely indifferent to it and I think it doesn't make sense.

I'm quite sure of that. It's only seems to you that you indifferent to praise. There are people who just enjoy hearing praise and there are also those who don't enjoy it, but this is not to say that praise isn't pleasant for them. You are from the second group. Being praised you feel satisfaction, more or less but you feel, you just need to notice it.
Maybe the word 'praise' isn't right one here, we can say 'approval' or something else,  in general any good words about somebody.

Most people do. I can't believe you do not feel pleased when someone says you did a good job or things like that. Sure, it must be sincere, not mere flattery.

i mean  many of people like and even proud of the success they have got this  is normal thing .But you dont stop on your way to the top i guess. Where  are no so many people around us like you .So you are all special. But what is the top for you?

It's natural.
It's better to believe that you are good, in this case you are more successful and happy. When people praise you you get the evidence that you are good )

i want to be praised by myself... i always want to do good things for my parrents, wife, friends...unfortunately my incomes dont let me help all of them(( i always want to earn a lot of money...to be praised by myself
