Sorry, I have no Cyrillic settings at the moment. I have a question:
“it was me” or “it was I” in the sentence bellow.
Since it was me who contacted another agency and you, and you did not ‘borrow’ my details from somebody else, there is no conflict of interests nor breach of professional conduct.
Could you, please, explain which version is correct and WHY?

В разговорной речи часто используется me, но правильно -
I. В Вашем случае
I (it was I)- единственно правильное решение, так как стиль далеко не разговорный.
Если не ошибаюсь, то правило звучит что-то типа:
After any form of 'to be' a nominative pronoun should be used.
А откуда исходное предложение? Мне там еще кое-что не нравится
Например:
neither ...nor
no ... or
