It's pretty good to be acquainted. For example, fluffy dog seemed definitely unfeminine from my point of view.

I'm finished PhD with degree in veterinary-pharmacology-toxicology science, believe have intermediate English leavel (6 overal points in IELTS), speak fluentler then write and, therefore, decided to meet local habitants that makes forums valuable.

I almost insane like journeys and foreign cultures. So, I plane not to sit flat and meet countries where never been before.

I like many things: music, motocycles, kiddyes, constellations, microscope-lands, words like whatsoever and nevertheless...

Thanks for the forum you make for I could be happy. The shortcoming I guess sometime exist here is lack of interest in discussions for English was put in centre of corner, though, it could be just for an amature eye.

Hasten to explain. The very clause was pointed to moderator's avatar. The second, the word I constructed by using slang kiddy. Believe transformed right, though, "right" is not a word for slang where there everything is so, apparently in case then the narrow circle of mates understand it equally.

Yes, i do. For the time being i play only on PC. But next year i'll going sign up to musical school on a class "Piano". At least two years to learn musical notation - would be a good experience and practice. Plus i have a crazy ideas, such as creating mainstream "avantgarde pop-music". It's so difficult, but everything is possible. "Just do it" (c) Ha-ha. :)

At first i want to say that in Russia, imo, nothing at all to need. Although.. something has demand, but as to the spiritual plane - an abyss. Absolutely. (if can understand my flight of ideas) :)

I guess I missed this topic when signing up. So hi everybody! My name is Rita, and I'm 21. I've been into English since I was 8, and that's when I started learning it. Last year I graduated from the university, so now I hold the Bachelor of Journalism degree. Several years ago I decided to take up linguistics as long as I'm fond of it and of teaching English and Russian. I 'm going to take the entrance exams to the Magistrates of Linguistics (that's RSUH) in July.
When I was 17, I started tutoring. At first I taught Russian, but a few months later I thought I might teach English. So now I'm here, and, to be honest, I'd love to get some experience from you :) And I hope you'll be generous ;) I'd really appreciate that.

I moved from Zaporozhye to Donetsk four month ago. I used to go to English courses in Zaporozhye. But I don`t have this opportunity now. And you know, when you don`t use foreign languages then you`ll forget it quickly. That`s why, I hope I`ll make better my English with this website.

Not so quickly, I think. It's like riding a bike — if you have once figured out how to do that, you can't forget it. But of course, to keep your English fluent, you should practice it regularly. The problem is that, like with all other skills, you are better off with necessity than opportunity. I mean, if you have to speak English at work or doing your business, you will practice with a 100% probability, but if you just have an opportunity to do so, like on this forum, that doesn't guarantee even 1%. Look how many people have introduced themselves in this thread and claimed they wanted to improve their English. Where are they? I don't know — they simply disappear after 1 or 2 posts.

Hello everybody!
I am Amato. It isn't my real name, but I like it. I guess you wouldn't mind to call me this name. I am studying English and I have been studying it for long time. It is about 12 months passed since I have started it and it is still very bad and I have a lot of questions, but I am afraid of asking them so that people don't think that I am a complete simpleton. When I read grammar rules it seems to me that I understand everything, but then, when I read something on internet sites I could stuck with some phrases. And I couldn't understand what the problem is. When I try to find out the root of a problem, I often cannot find a paragraph in my text-book that would explain it. I wonder if it is possible to ask an amount of silly questions here. I guess they are going to be really silly.
Additionally I would like to find 2 or 3 friends with whom I would have a pleasure to talk by skype or by any other means to develop fluency of speech, because I am studying English on my own and I cannot evaluate myself properly.

We must write two sentence using that word:one in English and one in Russian. It is possible to add some pictures to make the post look better.
