Отправлено: asai от 19 Май 2015, 10:25
Я готовлюсь к экзамену в школе. Тренирую времена глаголов на разных статьях и отрывках. Вот нашла отрывок из книги. Помогите исправить ошибки?"

The key to Faraday's greatest discoveries ]was (past simple) his "force fields." If one places iron filings over a magnet, one finds(Pres Simp)that the iron filings create(Pres Simp) a spiderweb-like pattern thatfills up(Pres Simp)all of space. These are Faraday's lines of force, which graphically describe(Pres Simp) how the force fields of electricity and magnetism permeate(Pres Simp) space. Empty space, to Faraday, was not(Past Simp) empty at all, but was filled (passiv, Past Simp)with lines of force that could make(modal verb, Past simp) distant objects move.
In fact, the sum total of all modern physics is written(?????) in the language of Faraday's fields. In 1831, he made(Past Simp) the key breakthrough regarding force fields that changed civilization forever. One day, he was moving(Past continious) a child's magnet over a coil of wire and he noticed(Past Simp) that he was able to (Past simple , modal verb) generate an electric current in the wire, without ever touching(gerund) it. This meant (Pres Simp)that a magnet's invisible field could push(Past Simp. modal verb) electrons in a wire across empty space, creating(gerund) a current.
In other words, the force fields(Pres Simp) of Michael Faraday are(Pres Simp) the forces that drive modern civilization, from electric bulldozers to today's computers, Internet, and iPods.
